i went to helge a. haugan elementary school. it was a very good time in my life. when i was in kindergarten, sheryl was in first grade, sheila was in sixth grade and ate shirley was in 8th grade. wow. somewhere the earth was saving a pocket of chaos because this was the one and only time all four melo sisters were at one school. OOOOHH-WEEEE! it's all good. my sisters were the shiz then, as they are still now ... so it's all gravy :). i have to tell you, although confusing and scary at the time, i found it most hilarious when teachers would refer to me as one of my sisters. ha x 2!

these were my teachers:
    kindergarten: Mrs. Diaz
    1st grade: Mrs. Griffin
    2nd grade: Mrs. Robinson
    3rd grade: Mrs. Barach
    4th grade: Mrs. Clesceri
    5th grade: Ms. Brewer
    6th grade: Mrs. Grandinetti
    7th grade: Ms. Morris
    8th grade: Ms. Simpson
    basketball coach: javier magana

i went to albert g. lane technical high school. i learned alot, played some decent basketball, and made the dopest friends ever.

these were my teachers:
    coaches: Toledo, Dixon, Julius, Joyce
english: Mrs. Dean, Ms. Starr, Mr. O'Neil, Mr. Mims
    bio: Mr. Keating
    chemistry: Mr. Warren
math: Mr. Nishamaura, Mrs. Rothman, Mr. Fornal, Mrs. Lee
pe: Ms. hassen, Mr. backstrom, Mr. salinas

i went to the university of illinois down in urbana-champaign. i didn't like it at first, but it got better and i ended up loving it as well!

these were my teachers:
you swear i remember some of my wack @ss professors ... ha! *just kidding*

The After:
i work now but i still have way more to learn. believe it. but i'm down for it, so it's all good. i have two official jobs in the industry under my belt, and 5+ years of experience. i'm trying to do my family right by making something of myself. what that is, remains to be seen ;-)!

i want to get another degree. i haven't decided if i want to get a higher degree in a technical field or i want another bachelor's degree in say, another engineering field. that would be fly if i was a software engineer that had either a mechanical or electrical engineering degree as well. oh man. that would be sweet. i could get my masters in cs, but i hesitate. hmmmm ... meanwhile, i'm dragging booty mostly because of the financials of it all. we'll see.

i've thought about getting other non-technical degrees. i want to get a teaching certification because somewhere in me a teacher is waiting to jump out. i would love to teach math, computer science, or even english at the high school or elementary school level. that would be so sweet. if that panned out, you know i would try to coach some basketball, too. word.
