my performance motto: i perform well when i'm lead well.

welcome to the wonderful world of polo shirts, khakis and cubicles ... also known as the exciting world of engineering. here, the male to female ratio is, on average, 35 to 1 ... coffee, smoke, lunch, walk, and workout breaks are a necessity yet seldom, so brute force them if you have to ... you reference office space movie lines on the daily ... you send coworkers harmless viruses that make their cdrom drive open on every fifth time the enter key is hit ... hax2. like i said, EXCITING!

when i officialy started to work after graduation, i always had this creepy feeling like "they" are going to find me out. what do i mean by that? i felt like something was going to happen where the company that hired me would realize i "am" not a software engineer ... that i'm stupid or inept. i worked at ngc for a little over 4.5 years. now, i am at motorola and it will be a year next month. wow, how time flies! so all in all, i have been an engineer for 5+ years now. you know what that means folks? on paper, that is, i'm a hot commodity. i can changes jobs or company jump purely on that basis: EXPERIENCE. that, and i learn hella quick. so if you are looking to hire, check out my resume and feel free to contact me. i'm always open to hearing about new and exciting technological opportunitues.

work continues to challenge me on the daily. i get to utilize all the math and programming skills that i learned from u of i. thank goodness! i have my good days and i have my bad days, just like any other person though. another day, another dollar - right? it pays the bills ... lol. since the move to moto, i've been m.i.a. with a lot of my friends. it sucks, but for now, i have to just try to work it out. for those of you who remained and supported me through my transition - thank you. i appreciate the friendship. and for those of you who continue to hate or didn't want to take the time to give me some slack, thanks for the friendship previous to that point. i appreciate the time you were in my life, and good luck with the rest of yours. no worries :).

here are some pics of my office a.k.a the cubie, as well as some pics of me in action. i'm a software engineer, so i'll admit the major portion of my day is spent in front of a pc. definitely don't get it twisted ya'll ... i use my brain like no other, so albeit not physically demanding, i'm lucky if i know my own name at the end of the day. thanks to my stalker-esque coworkers for the cell snaps. enjoy the assorted colors of polos ... lol. naw, i can pimp out biz styles too. word.
